Biography

My name is Sally Wilshire. I have been working at Murdochs for 6.5 years in the role of paralegal to Tom McVeigh and was recently admitted as a Lawyer.

I studied my law degree at the University of Southern Queensland whilst juggling full time work and raising a young family as a single mother. My 3 children are now young adults and I have moved to our Brisbane office to commence practicing as a Lawyer. Prior to working at Murdochs, I was involved in risk insurance and worked in accounting firms in Emerald, Brisbane and Toowoomba.

I enjoy working in Succession and Estate Planning and supporting clients through the process whilst working alongside their other professional advisers to give them the best suite of documents to suit their situation. I was raised on a cattle property in Central Queensland and have a good understanding of the succession issues faced by many rural families. I also have a good understanding regarding the issues facing blended families in working out how to address their estate planning.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my kids. I also love travelling and going on new adventures with my friends. I am enjoying being back in Brisbane where I have lived sporadically over the years and feel right at home here. I recently went to the cricket at the Allan Border Oval and have attended a couple of AFL matches at the Gabba.
