I initially started at Murdochs as an administration assistant and it really opened my eyes to the progression opportunities in the firm. In admin, I was able to learn and retain as much knowledge as possible from the different teams but ultimately my passion has settled with Leanne and the future planning team. I have great mentors and the support of the team which has allowed me to thrive and strive for the best.
Biography
I’m Maddy and I’m a Paralegal in our Estate Administration and Estate Planning Team.
Majority of the work I complete is within the deceased estate administration part of the team. Having seen the positive effect of a well structured estate plan I appreciate the importance of having appropriate arrangements in place, regardless of your age or financial standing. I enjoy helping our clients understand their options and giving them some peace of mind during difficult times.
Being part of the team at Murdochs has really met my expectations. I joined Murdochs after my sister, who also works here as a paralegal, told me about the role. Hearing about her great experience and how supportive the team is, was what lead me here. I come from a big family so I’m used to being part of a team, if the people are great, I am up for working hard!
When I’m not at work, I can usually be found playing with my cat Frankie or practicing guitar.
