Read MoreI assist clients across the spectrum: from young couples preparing their first Will, to families looking to protect their adult children’s inheritance, to older couples transitioning to retirement. I believe that estate planning is often placed in the ‘too hard’ basket – I enjoy making the process smooth and streamlined for my clients. You would be surprised how often I hear at the end of a matter “that was much easier than I expected”. I believe that whilst the law may be complex, the process need not be.
I have a particular passion for asset protection strategies, estate planning for families where a beneficiary has a disability, and post-death Superannuation disputes.
I work closely with Leanne Matthewson and Tom McVeigh to assist families with succession planning, due diligence reviews and equity transfer strategies.
What do I love about my job? To be honest, it is the little things that clients say which forms the best part of my job – “I’m so glad we came to see you”, “We couldn’t have done this without you” and “I’m going to tell my children to come see you”.
I am a mother of 3 (including a set of twins) and actively involved with the Toowoomba and District Multiple Birth Association. Our family also includes a cat (“Tyrion”) and a pug (“Khaleesi”).
Outside of work, I am a keen traveller and a (not as keen) home renovator.
