Biography

Prior to moving to Brisbane in 2011 to study and work, I lived in Toowoomba for most of my life, graduating from St Ursula’s College in 2010. I am enjoying being back ‘on the hill’ and working with a range of established and new businesses within our region.

I am a lover of all things design and styling, and run a small side business hiring designer dresses to clients across Australia (mainly to fund my online shopping addiction). I am a keen runner and love attending parkruns on the weekends – followed by the occasional breaky mimosa.

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2017 with a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and Bachelor of Arts before being admitted to practice in Queensland in 2018.

During my studies, I worked as a research clerk at a top-tier Brisbane firm, and was fortunate enough to travel to Boston for a semester to study Intellectual Property and Public International Law at Harvard University.

After completing my degrees I was offered and accepted a graduate position with the same top-tier Brisbane firm before returning to Toowoomba in 2018.

I have worked in a broad range of practice areas, including Intellectual Property, Litigation, Employment, Work Health and Safety and Commercial/Business. My experience to date includes assisting clients with:

  • the sale and purchase of businesses and assets;
  • advices on various aspects of the Personal Properties Securities Act and Corporations Act;
  • contracts and subcontracts
  • credit terms and terms of trade;
  • advice regarding labour hire licensing;
  • employment advice relating to award coverage, underpayments, terminations, employment agreements and work health and safety;
  • litigation and dispute resolution.
